HOMEWORK?

I heard from teachers ada jua parents are not happy when teacher kasih student homework. What type of parents would do that? I asked a few teachers from beberapa schools here in Brunei, i wonder why teachers inda kasih homework. Not only me wonder, but some parents too. So some respond, parents not happy when their children are given homework. Worst lagi, that parents boleh memarahi teachers. And worst lagi, bila teachers gave homework, hard to get the homework back. And you know what? Homework and classwork counts.

So, how TRUE and UNTRUE about this. Inda kan homework help. I asked sekolah bebayar, yang a good one. Always have homework and projects to do. I wonder why? Because ia bebayar, that's why the education better? Or .. what? But i think all the teachers got good pay jua sekolah kerajaan and sekolah bebayar ani, why different?

Oh.. you only give one project a year? I don't know. Maybe the teachers knew better. Because they are the one dealing with the students and parents. So i am sure there are reasons why they don't give homework? Do you agree kah? I am so confused.

Teachers dulu totally different than teacher sekarang. But i wonder jua, do you really want to be a teacher, or just work as a teacher because there were not options for you to do other things? As for students, i wonder.. what type of parents would not care about your education? What happen.

I think kerajaan already sediakan eveything. Free education etc. Tapi, why ah? You expecting kerajaan to sediakan everything for you? Inda ada bekerja with commonsense kah? Don't we need generasi yang bagus bagus and intelligent ka? That whatever we do ani semua berkira. Do government have to pay for your children to do homework? Or do you want your children to have good or best of best grade for their future?

Entah eh. I think i am the only one rasa like this. Well.. i wish all luck. But i hope we do something better, jangan pilih bulu. Yes jangan pilih bulu. Meaning, kalau sekolah bebayar, baru tah kan banar banar mengajar, kalau sekolah kerajaan ani, alah... tiap bulan terima pun, so what??? punya attitude like that, mati lah.

Oh.. lagi tia. Semasa seminar for teachers, kan muda muda dorang ani jua. Ada sesetengah nya have no passion for teaching. Just because its the only job untuk makan and hidup, well .. keraja lah jadi teacher. Don' t deny its fact. So someone bercerita lah with me, some of them not all, cant't care less. OOOOoooo.. that's for sure not a good attitude. That's bad. So, during seminars lah etc for teachers, some bercerita cerita and bertexting tah pulang. Some kan tetidor. So siapa yang bodoh? Yang di depan melecture, bebuih buih mulut kan menyampaikan messeg untuk menjadi guru guru contoh, tapi yang sesetengah nya ani, just plain idiot. I am getting emotional now.

So kalau no passion to teach our children, QUIT! and do something worth living for you. Sama jua in the hospital, ada some not all nurses and doctors yang bila nya rasa orang sakit atu kan mati, bah biar tia. Bukan tia kan berusaha untuk menyelamatkan. Like nyawa ani .. doi murah kali. And i tell you, being a nurse or doctors ani, they have to do the dirty job jua. Its all bloody and sickening. Bari gali ada jua. Bari ijap ada jua. I salut jua tu yang banar banar work berusaha untuk menyelamatkan. Its not an easy task. Kadang ada yang baik ketempiasan orang jua. But ada yang well.. inda baik atu, baik tah bekerja di bilik mayat. Bukan nya tempat kan beeksin tu, tempat menyelamatkan nyawa.

Pun jua others job kalau kan di mention, banyak. Just because issue about homework, well.. ketempiasan all. Sorry jika ada kata kata yang menyinggong perasaan and menyakitkan. Bukan maksud, tapi hanya sakadar kesedaran. Bukan inda ada orang yang punya attitude like this, termasok parents makes children keampitan jua, apa apa saja lah termasok. I hope and wish to see a better future and us, you, me and our friends and siapa siapa saja use our commensense to be a better rakyat and to have keamanan negara, kebersihan, dan sentiasa dalam menolong antara satu dengan yang lain dalam apa jua untuk mencapai masa depan yang lebih menyenangkan.

Psst. Pendidikan bermulanya dari rumah. So lets us work together in hand for the better future for our children. Salam.
